Greetings for the Festive Season

Christmas and New Year are good for thinking and remembering.  A few days of relaxation before everything starts all over again.  Personally I have fond memories from the year that passed.  Our meeting in Isle of Wight was very productive in the sense that the Membership showed great willingness to contribute to the complex organisation of the NatWest Island Games.  The first test of that in practice happens as we speak - your entry numbers for next year's Games have to be registered no later than 31st December.

You also showed great enthusiasm for the years to come and the changes that might be necessary to build an even stronger Association.  After the spring Meeting of the Executive Committee we will come back with proposals along that line that can be dealt with next summer in the Isle of Wight.

But for now it is time to eat, drink and enjoy ourselves.  Real life continues again after New Year's Eve when we will focus even more on NatWest Island Games 2011!

On behalf of your Executive Committee I would like to send you our warmest wishes for a fantastic Christmas and a joyful New Year!  And to thank you all for your ongoing support and confidence.
