Dear Friends

Being an Islander means we are surrounded by water, but not isolated.

Thanks to the International Island Games Association 25 islands all over the world have a common interest in both Sport and Friendship.

Since 1985 the Member-Islands have come together in competition at an international level - but that is not all - we also share common problems and opportunities.

Our Islands may be only small in a big world but together we can learn from each other to develop our skills in sport as well as to build better societies.

The NatWest Island Games is much more than a festival of sport. It has become a vital meeting place for our Islanders.

We bring our Islands together.
